Traditionally matured for 15 years, the whisky is transferred from American white oak barrels after 13 years to Fino Sherry Butts for the final two year finishing period. Made from the distinctive Palomino grape, fino sherry has a distinctive taste with a strong yet delicate character. The resulting Glenmorangie Fino Sherry Wood Finish is a malt whisky of great finesse with a balance of strength and delicacy rarely achieved.
