The Hanky Panky

This classic cocktail was created by legendary Ada "Coley" Coleman who tended bar at London's swanky American Bar in the Savoy Hotel in the early 1900s.  Way ahead of her time, she was the first female bartender at the Savoy.  The Hanky Panky is basically a sweet Martini with bitter undertones from the Fernet.

Ingredients

1.5 oz. Junipero Gin
1.5 oz. Mazzini Rosso
.25 oz. Luxardo Fernet

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a stirring vessel, add ice and stir for 10 seconds, strain into martini or Nick and Nora glass, garnish with lemon or orange peel.
